This is a newsletter that simply links to a short list of great products. I’ll probably wind up sending one out about once a month - so rest easy on the fear of spam. Hopefully this helps you find great pieces that you keep for years to come and to actually buy less (b/c the things you buy give you a ton of mileage).
I like the idea of sharing in a contained, intentional format outside of Instagram where recommendations are endless.
Here are the things I am loving.
Perfect white jeans. These are not see-through - the front pockets are barely visible (#1 pet peeve about white pants). They’re high rise, but in a classic way. Straight leg, hits at your ankle.
I went to Jeana Sohn’s studio to try on her new collection over the weekend and got this sweater, which I’ll be living in post heat wave. Wool, but feels like cashmere. Mid weight, super versatile. No pics of it unbuttoned, but looks so chic thrown on as a little jacket too.
Also got this perfect light weight camel coat and one other piece that hasn’t launched on her site yet (I’ll share in my next letter). Email info@jeanasohnstudio.com to make an appointment at her studio in Silverlake.
Minimalist Supergas. The antithesis of the thousand dollar designer, chunky, sneaker.
I’ve been using this as shampoo (I wash my hair twice a week), and it has healed my dry scalp. Wow. Goop makes a similar product that I haven’t tried yet.
Pretty sure this lip pencil is one of the most popular beauty products of all time. I use it in pillow talk to over-line my cupid’s bow. So random, but it looks too harsh on me to line all the way around my lips. You can also use it as lipstick. It’s such a good color.
My jute rug is 20% off for Labor Day. It’s a much lighter color than most jute rugs. And quite a bit thinner. I love it.
A luxury straw bag that doesn’t look played out and trendy. Beautiful quality. Comes in a larger size too.
Drawer dividers are such a game changer. I use them in my closet and kitchen.
Thinking about these understated timeless loafers.
Nancy Meyers in her office in 2022.
And her office years ago with the same Herman Miller desk chair. I got one a few months ago, and it is truly the most comfortable chair. You can adjust every part of it. Worth the investment.
